Horror Show of Skeletal Remains of 20-Year-Old Girl's Body Found in Tennessee Woods on Mother's Day

Wednesday June 5th, 2024, 9:15 PM reporting from Sunday June 2nd, 2024, 2:20 PM- Chattanooga, Tennessee- A tragic story involving a 20-year-old girl's skeletal remains were exhumed from the Chattanooga woods discouraged much discontent of the Martinez family for the death of their daughter.

The body of the missing young woman was found on Mother's Day. 'Somebody knew something that nobody wanted to know the public,' said the distraught mother of the young woman slain is asking public support to come forward with additional information in correspondence to her daughter's death after the 20-year-old Georgia woman was reported lost.

The dismayed parent of the young Georgia woman was notified by police of the same day on Mother's Day. The body of the young woman was identified as Maury-Ange Faith Martinez, of Alpharetta, was previously seen alive existing Gwinnett County Correction Detention Center surrounding 2:20 PM on August 28th, 2023, according to WSB-TV. Detectives are calling death a cold case and are continuing the investigation by law enforcement officials reasoned that her final learned area of presence was in an inhabited Cobb Country, according to Cobb County Police Sgt. Eric Smith.

Police gave a statement in a media report to outlets that the Martinez family issued a report the woman was initially lost on August 28th, 2023. At the same time, sheriff deputies signaled a reported for the public to be on the search for the missing woman.

The human skeletal remains were obtained in rural Chattanooga, Tennessee since January 5th, 2024. The rural spot is an incorporated region indigenous approximately 100 miles from where Martinez was last seen alive.

The Cobb County Coroner Medical Examiner's Office affirmed authenticity that are 100% efficient accuracy that are that the remains of Maury-Ange Faith Martine, according to a statement by the Cobb Country Police Department.

The parents of Maury-Ange Faith Martine including her mother was contacted on Mother's Day that her daughter's skeletal remains were reobtained in the wilderness region of Chattanooga Tennessee from the unprecedented aftermath events of going missing overrun than 250 days.

"I want to know what happened to my daughter. It doesn't cure the loss by any means, but it fills a hole that my brain doesn't haven't to make up what happened for the rest of our lives," Darling told WAGA-TV.

The anguished mother replied, "Someone has to have knowledge of something untold to us. She was a noticeable girl. She was a gorgeous girl with an energetic, magnetic personality. If anybody has information, step up and say something."

Sgt. Smith explained, "There are more resources, but it requires a lot of coordination among each other to make sure they're sharing information and things of that nature to hopefully find out what happened."

Darling said of her daughter, "She was very loving, funny, quirky, sing at the top of her lungs doesn't care if anybody's listening type of person. Just a fantastically loving human being, and that's the thing I can be most proud of."

The mother added, "Funny little things that we see, or we notice that remind us of Maury."
