Tumultuous Versatility
~Cory Morr
I don't smile; I don't frown.
My mind is peace mirroring self-control sound.
I'm not vile, I'm not evil.
My conduct leads responsible than a clown.
I'm not a fool; I don't bark as a hound.
I am patient, I am mild; my dignity is a dirt pile.
My somber guild waits a while several unread hours.
I don't lounger, I don't scowl.
My work abounds, increased to adult from a child.
I don't grief, I don't complain libel from testimony filed.
Wisdom builds insight capacity of pounds, designed a house of tiles. I don't sink; my strength stretched wild. My soul is light, my spirit is kind.
I don't run but confront evil in a bind.
Though my body died, my mind is turned aside.
My authority leads, my power guides.
I have slipped and tripped this experienced ride.
My pleasure is quiet, my insight is right.
The devil lost the fight below the ground.
I gained a crown of victory honor round,
My worth is a symbol unique girded hope delivered mile. My name will be heard credit from sea to town someday in leaving denial.
