THE POVERTY PRAYER

~Cory W. Morrel
~Cory W. Morrel

Father of Heaven and God of Light,

I do not consider the bread of my meal riches,

but by sharing the riches of my grace I may receive blessings.

Though every day is a gift of inheritance on my plate, through

the peace of words harvested my patience I will increase a harvest.

Angry kings have overturned the power of my good name.

Evil rulers have desecrated the glory of my righteous house.

Dark spirits have destroyed the praise of my prosperous work.

Set forth pulled below like iron, I sustain sublime knowledge I shall prosper a return of my fortune recovered, reserved before the

chamber gates of God.

Counselled by the response of my notarized response, I pray that through the trials of enslaved poverty my confession be the exalted labors of my salvation tested in the heart of the Lord, to reign before all the earth of mankind.

~Amen
